For All Your Days, Prepare.

Learn about Forthright Financial Services and its mission to help clients with high-quality financial advice

without worrying about the size of investment accounts.

Hello, I’m Travis McCullough, CFP®, MST

Founder of Forthright Financial Services.

You’re here and you’re willing to do what it takes to create the life and future you want – for yourself and your family. But that life and future could depend on making the right choices with your money now.
Nobody wants a person on their team who doesn’t work, who isn’t giving his best, maximizing his potential day in and day out. Far too often for people, their money is just like that lazy team member.
It’s not working as hard as it could be or should be, and your future self is going to have to pay for it.
The problem is, when it comes to understanding your finances – and all the choices you have to make in both your business and personal life, you feel like you’re always trying to solve a mystery. It’s complicated, and your time is precious.
Time is money, and I don’t have to convince you that both have a way of slipping away without us realizing it.
I’m here to help.

Why Forthright Financial?

I’m the son of two master plumbers. When it came to plumbing, “master” is the right word. They were brilliant at their work. And, like all contractors and tradesmen, their business went through highs and lows. When times were good, we took amazing vacations and enjoyed life together. When times were tough, like going through bankruptcy to avoid losing everything, we had to bear the burden.

This is a story told all too often, and it’s why I started Forthright Financial Services.

While working closely with my dad as his accountant, and then as his financial planner, I was able to help him through some very important but difficult situations. It all paid off and I was able to experience one of the proudest moments of my life. I got to sit across from my dad and tell him he could retire on his terms.

As an owner-operator or contractor, your business and your personal financial situations are so connected that I believe you need special advice to address both of those areas simultaneously.

That special guidance is exactly what we provide. Straightforward advice that’s always a phone call away.
